Alerts for new websites

Pick what you care about and get a link. Paste it into Slack, an email service or a feed reader, and every matching site shows up there as it launches. No account, and no email address given to this site.

Getting it where you want it

Slack

Add Slack's own RSS app to your workspace, then in the channel you want, type/feed subscribe followed by the RSS link.

Email

Services such as Blogtrottr, IFTTT or Zapier send an email for each new item in a feed: give them the RSS link. They hold your address, this site never sees it.

Feed reader

Feedly, Inoreader, NetNewsWire or any other: add the RSS link as a new feed.

Your own code

Poll the JSON link. It carries up to 100 sites (add &limit=100) and is refreshed every minute; see the API page for the fields.

What the filters mean

• Word in the domain matches anywhere in the name, so shoe also matches horseshoe.dev. Plain a-z, 0-9, dots and hyphens; at least 3 of them. Accented and non-Latin names cannot be watched, because domains store them in an encoded form (punycode).
• Newly registered means the domain's registry records it as created in the last 30 days. Without it you also get long-established sites that were simply profiled recently.
• Only real sites. Feeds carry the same sites as the rest of this site: parked domains, placeholder pages and flagged content are left out.
• Each feed holds the 50 most recent matches and is refreshed every few minutes. Filters combine: a site has to match all of them.

Nothing is stored about who follows a feed. Fetching one is an ordinary request, covered by the same short-lived logs as any page; see privacy.
